Ted Falk Bio

My name is Ted Falk and I’m running for re-election to serve as your Member of Parliament.

I am running to be your common-sense voice in Ottawa: A leader who will proudly stand up for Provencher values.

Since 2015, Justin Trudeau and the Liberals have made life increasingly unaffordable for Canadians. I hear from constituents all the time that they are struggling to get by under the crippling tax increases imposed by the Trudeau Liberals.

81% of middle-income families are paying, on average, $840 more per year in taxes under the Liberals—that doesn’t include Justin Trudeau’s Carbon Tax or CPP Tax increases.

Canadians need tax relief, not more new taxes. A Conservative Government will cancel Justin Trudeau’s Carbon Tax, cut the taxes from parental benefits, remove the GST from home heating bills, and work hard so you can get ahead, not just get by.

People often ask what is the difference between Liberals and Conservatives?

The difference is that Liberals believe in government. Conservatives believe in people.

Liberals want to take more of your money, so they can create more government. Conservatives believe in investing in people and that the best way to do that is to leave more money in your pockets. You earned it, you should get the choice of how to spend it.

I’m a Conservative because I believe in individual freedom and personal responsibility.

As former Conservative Prime Minister John Diefenbaker said:

“I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern my country.”

That’s the Canada I believe in, and, if re-elected, I will continue to work hard for you.
